Deacon, if that question was for me, we fished them with a cork, casting as far away from us as we could with a 1/32 hair jig and smallest cork that would float them.

Boy when they turn on like that they will give them old arms a good work out. But don't you just love it. Gets the old heart pumping 90 to nothing.

Hey Johnny, that must be a heck of a hole! I didn't think Lacassine had any water above about 4 foot max.

Dwyane, there are two of them that I know of, they put a dang oil rig right in between them, by the left launch.

    Thumbs up

    Best bream trip!
This pic is of myself and youngest son fishing for Shellcrackers at Grand Bayou. We were using our home grown Ala wigglers!:D We counted 100 fish by 9am and we left em biting.

    Best Crappie trip!
Toledo Bend. First time ever fishing with jigs only. We were catching fish where others were not. It was an awesome day! We limited out by 2pm.

    Best saltwater trip!
It was not the quantity of the catch, it was the fact that I had the entire family on this trip that made it the best ever! I have to add it was the "worst ever" as far as the cost! Most expensive trip I ever took!

dont have pics...but my brother and i, back in the day caught 206 sacs one summer day on lake verrete,,only kept a few,,we were fishing a tournament...heard on the radio that a 1lb 9oz was the big fish..so instead of coming in to weigh in some 1lb 7-8oz fish we just stayed and fished,,when we got back in, it turned out the radio report was wrong it was a 1lb 1oz fish that was in 1st place..this was way before cell phones and my dad thought we had broken down..we didnt win the tournament...but we had the best catch ever
