Ever since I was a kid, I always hated to get a strike, and miss a fish. I could not stand it. It irritated me so, to know that it was that close and to just not get it done. A fish hit my bait, and I'll never know what it was. It could have been “this” big fish or “that” even bigger fish; and by the end of the day, in my head, it was the biggest.

Well, an outdoorsman is an outdoorsman, and they like to crappie fish too. I remember watching one of their shows where they crappie fished. So I had to check out their new fishing rods and I found out that I really like them.

This is our first trip to southern Mississippi and the “land of the giants”! Most of the video is pre-fishing for the Lake Washington CrappieMaster’s tournament and the weigh-in afterwards, I’ve yet to rig up a camera to film during the tournament, but if I’d known how much of a butt whoopin’ we were going to take I’d have filmed it anyway!
