Yes, we were fishing on the North end of Ky lake. I don't know if the North end is any better than the rest of the lake, it seems like there is good fishing all over Ky and Barkley lakes this year. Good luck with those crackers and gills !

Have a chance to go down next weekend for the weekend. Are they still going to be biting then? I hear they should be good until the next full moon. I normally fish Blood River for crappie and catch redears then by accident. Is this a pretty good place to go?

We cleaned 26 redears and a cooler full of KY Lake bluegill this afternoon. We didn't see too many bluegill with eggs but the crackers still have them.

I can't seem to catch a fish in Blood River, but everyone else can. We are hitting coves off the main lake.

We fished Jonathan Creek and the bays just to the north and south of it on the main lake.

Nice mess of fish Huck!I fished Blood River Friday morning for a little while before the Memorial Day madness started. Spent most of the morning spider rigging for crappie, but they were pretty tough. Had 2 keepers caught in 15fow and released 6 short fish. Went into the bay across from Wildcat Creek and caught one nice redear and kept a few more bluegill for supper.
