not on a bad note, but do people really need to take home that many at one time
This is the reason I hate to post pics sometimes, but I do understand your question. My dad and I actually helped another very nice man clean every single fish in the picture and didn't keep a single fillet for ourselves (quite a bit of work, but we don't mind at all). His family really likes fish and we take him once a year to catch and clean enough for his family to enjoy for a while. This fish are not wasted and I don't see the difference in keeping 20 fish for 20 days or 400 in one day. I don't really enjoy cleaning fish, but when I decide to clean them I catch and clean as many as possible and release them the remainder of the year when my freezer has enough for 5 or 6 meals for friends and family. I also take fish to some guys at work once or twice a year as you will see from this weekends pic. This is the best I can answer your question.

I probably caught somewhere between 300 and 400 keeper crappie this year and only cleaned maybe 60 or so and released the rest.

I caught them this weekend in 6' to 7' of water on a bream reaper drug along the bottom. Most people I've seen are fishing the edge of the brush and I'm fishing 75' to 100' out from it, but haven't been able to find the shellcracker but heard they are 3' to 3.5' behind the buckbrush.

I agree with you Caseydrew. If I can catch 400 in a day I would do it. I got four kids and parents that live on social security only. I got tons of friends who ask for fish and the more I catch, the more I can eat and share. I also deer hunt and we go through a minimum of three deer a year and I stress minimum. If I could kill six I would do it and we eat every bit of it.

Caseydrew you are the man. You do not need to defend any pictures you post here. I enjoy them greatly and showed a lot of my friends. There will always be people who are jealous. If weren't for guys like you taking up the slack for others the bluegill would take over and over populate. Keep up the good fishing and please don't stop posting pictures. You have answered some of my questions in the past and I want to thank you for your help.
