Thread: headin to nolin next wknd.

1st trip to nolin, from other posts i gather we should fish above wax. any other advice?

My brother and I fished there last Friday. We fished in Iberia and Conoloway. Caught several short fish(8 1/2 to 8 3/4) and 4 Keepers. We threw curly tail grubs.

Depends on the water conditions, last week the dinks were on the prowl. With all the rain who knows, I personally favor Conalway Creek, but the uper end may clear faster. If you put in at Conalway ramp you ahave a lot of options to fish there you can run down to red rock, go across to long fall , run up to rock creek or Dog Creek. I am going Monday or Wednesday next week I will try to post something for you by Thursday. This past saturday the best I did was with white tube, or white and most anything else.

any new updates for the wknd?

fished all day sat and had 4 crappie. the fish were there but had moved out deeper and had lock jaw. caught more bass than crappie.
