Thread: Lake Monroe IN.

Went to Monroe near Bloomington IN last Sunday with guide Charlie Hildreth. The weather was nasty cold wind from the east about 15 to 20 MPH water muddy and 48 to 50 degrees air temp about the same. Caught a lot of dinks and 3 nice fish, 1 about 1 LB 1 about 1.5 LB and a 3.5 LB Green Carp.
Caught most on purple/chartreuse tube and minnows.
Charlie worked hard to put us on some fish and plenty were on the sonar, the bigger one just didn't want to co-operate, but it was a good day and I did learn a few things. I'll have to go again when the weather is better.
