If you are throwing them back don't as they are really good to eat and easy to clean........the lake is also full of them and more people should be keeping them.
I usually keep a few if big enough but I'd rather catch the hybrids during the summer around Eggner's Ferry Bridge. We caught a few crappie this weekend but we were beating the banks. We caught mostly black crappie. Many were short but we ended up with about 20+ for the whole weekend.
