    Default Question about bloodriver

I wen't to bloodriver for the first time sat. I did okay we caught alot of short fish and ended up catching sixteen keepers we were fishing out in front of wildcat with all of the spider riggers we were drifting tube jigs and crappie rigs. My question is how long does the bite last out there. I have my boat set up with driftmaster trolling system, but have never spider rigged for crappie. If I have time left with the bite being good I'm thinking about buying the rods and goin all out. I will be staying down there the first weekend of april. Any info would be much appreciated.

I fish the from the area your describing toward the main lake to Sheep Ridge(where east bank turns toward main lake) on into June. Granted may not catch at the rate you did Saturday, but there are fish there well into summer. You should be fine in April.
