Ky Crappie.com Get Together ... Date

It seems like all the green river reports are saying the same things! Everyone seems to be catching 50 or so small ones and very few keepers! Maybe kyteacher or someone else could give us some good information on how to get through the small ones and find some slabs! I've had the same problem there the last few years.

of whatever lake ramp we're meeting on. Participants are required to adjust their arrival times in accordance with the prevailing time of the ramp area chosen. That's as fair as it can get :p (and no, ain't nothing "simple" :D )

... and would the State Park be 1hr ahead or behind ??

I just got home from a 5 day trip to Guntersville. I am going to drop some hint this weekend with the "honey" and see if see what happens. Will let you'll know Monday. Maybe a cookout is too much for the first get-together. Hope it works out!

State ramp,Cambellsville is on eastern time. Holms Bend,Columbia is central, Daylight app.6:30 central?

So far ... we have 8 members that will be there .. and 6 "maybe's" :p

We will meet at Holmes Bend ... 730AM - 8AM (their time)
There won't be a cookout, this time. (so BYO food :p )

Current weather forecast is for showers and low to mid 50's ... so pack/dress accordingly

I will update this thread, as members commit or back out.

Cancellation of the Get Together, will only occur if the weather forecast changes to heavy rain or thunderstorms for Saturday. I'll check the weather on Friday morning, and post a "go" or "no go", based on the local forecast.

OK. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the gathering is at Holmes Bend and we're getting there at 7:30 - 8:00 AM CDT (of 8:30-9:00 AM EDT for me). The weather looks like it may be geting better, and I may not have to work. I haven't been on Green River since 1993 and that was for a club bass tournament. Anybody fished Green lately? jigs or minnows? SPeaking of minnows, where is a bait shop around there. Yeah, getting a little wordy, but that's just me. :-)

Sorry I have to work the 28th and will not get to go to get together.I am on vacation the next week and I am taking my 2 girls and my son down.We are staying at holmes bend wed thru friday.If anyone can give me any imformation after the get together I would appreciat it and so would the kids
