    Default Just missed

Sorry I'll just miss you. We're coming down to Sportsman's Lodge on April 5th. I really hope the water temp gets into the hi 50's or low 60's by then. Today it is 52 degrees.

Good luck, enjoy the time with you Dad and leave a few slabs for my wife and I.

Good luck to both of you guys, hope the weather cooperates and you catch a bunch. From what I'm hearing, you should be hitting it pretty good. Never know with the weather though.

I'll be going March 28th, Cypress Bay, at the state line... 5th or 6th year in a row! Just like always, I can hardly sleep just thinking about it. Good Fishing with Good Friends, and like always, as long as the severe weather stays away, it will be a good time no matter what!

I will be down that weekend but I will be at Blood River. I looked at the air temperatures for that weekend and it is supposed to be in the upper 50's to 60 degrees. What are your thoughts with it being in the 70's most of the week and then dropping for four days in a row? Anyone think it is worth trying or should I go to a closer lake like Rough?

awwwwww you guys are making me jealous. Lots of water down there. Do you fish the LBL side or stay pretty much in KY side? I've read a lot about there being a growing black crappie population while majority seem to still be catching the whites. Sounds like an opportunity to me. Will your strategy be to hit the banks?

The state of Kentucky has more miles of running water than any state except Alaska

The dominanting Black Crappie population is in KY Lake. Barkley Lake is still a predominately White Crappie lake, but the Black Crappie are increasing in percentage there, too.
