    Default Weedless jigs, thanks CP...

Well I used weedless jigs today and I must say I am hooked! I never once hung up in the brush and got my jig deep in the zone! They may have been dinks but it sure was fun to be on the water! Thanks Crappiepappy for the info. Man I've always casted jigs into brush and blowdowns but never as close as with these jigs. I've ordered a bunch from Paul Mullins and can't wait to get those in. All were in 12 to 14 feet of water near brush and tree blowdowns. Beautiful day!

I have been using the Crappiepappy weedless jig heads that Paul (Grousefly) makes. I really like them! Grousefly is a good guy to deal with! Thanks CP for the reccomendation!

Here's a thread about the weedless jigheads that I use most often, and it also contains some other good info about how to help keep from hanging up (even with the weedless ones) :

    Weedless jig heads - Page 2 - Crappie.com

Grousefly makes many other types of weedless jigheads, and can vary the head weight - hook size - hook color - hook type - and even paint them to suit You can see alot of his jigheads, jigs, and other creations, by clicking on the Crappie Business Directory link (top left of screen) and then clicking on the jigs link (under Fishing Gear & Baits heading). Click on the pictures to view a larger image.

All of the contact info, to reach Grousefly (Paul Mullins) is in one of my reply's in the thread.
