    Talking Fried some up tonight!

Boys and Girls I couldn't stand it no longer and so I fried up a mess of crappie! I experimented several different ways, pancake batter, instant potatoe flakes, and Andy's fish batter. I gotta say none were bad at all but favored Andy's. Then I cleared the yard of debris. Hopefully the next two weeks will be fair weather and I can head down to KY Lake. Any tips on where to go?

My favorite is Andy's fish breading...great taste and that little bag will coat a bunch of filets. I believe I'm going to hit the freezer (I got one bag left) and fry me up some too. Gotta have 'em with fried taters and onions.

I like Uncle bucks fish batter mix myself and the hushpuppy mix is pretty good too.

I reheated some of the fillets I had left over and they're still good! Andy's rules. Anyone know what the Taylorsville lake temps are and water level? Summer pool yet?

    LEFT OVER FILLETS!
You should have your man card revoked for making such a statement. :D
Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.

ABSOLUTLY NOT. You should of fried up 20 more fillets and shared them with somebody else. I'll send you an address to ship them to. :D
Actually never mind. I will just get a bag of my own out of the freezer.
