    Default Johnthan Creek Area

Thinking about coming up to Ky Lake fishing either Wed. or Thur. and was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the lake conditions are. And if anyones catching any fish in that area.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the information, maybe the water will clear up a little in the next few days if we don't get anymore rain. I got a couple new toys that I would like to try out.

    Thanks

Well the holiday stuff is about over, the honey do's are about caught up, and the weather's turning pretty. I'm gonna fish for the next few days & I'll try to post ya up. I've got a buddy headed to JC tomorrow and he's pretty tuff on the crappie. He'll find'um if there in there.

Looking forward to your post Mr. Wiskers. Myself, I may just head to the river for a little bluecat fishing.

Fished from 9:00 till 2:00 brought home 14 caught in 12' to 14' over stakebeds, bite is slow but a few can be caught vertical jigging 1' of bottom. Water is very stained best color I found was black with red and chart. tube.

    Cool West side

Today is the first time I've gotten to wet a line in a month and a half. Man the wind was tuff. Couldn't come up with but 12 keepers. Probably caught 20 or so. Water was a little dingy. Purple & chartruse was the best color today for me. Caught them at 12' in 14 to 15 foot on brush.

Thanks for the info Wiskers, sounds like you had a decent day on the lake. My river trip produced no fish today- I'll get them next time.
