    Smile Ohio River Rockfish

Caught my limit of rockfish from 5-8 Lbs. The fish were all caught on a plastic swim-shad. Probably caught 12 or so rockfish, the ones in the picture were the largest. Note: tried to catch some sauger, the rising water washed out my fishing spot.

Thanks for the compliment Frank. I like to fry fish for my friends at work about once a month. This month they got to enjoy some sauger. The rockfish also are very good eating if you take the red meat out of the fillet.

Looks like those would be fun to catch. I only use that kind of tackle for a short period in the spring bass fishing small local lake about 5 miles from home. Rest of the time spend crappie fishing larger lake about 15 min. from home...

Good to hear from ya. Man I've been sick since Deer season! I don't know what I've got but I can't shake it!

Hate to hear the fish'n ain't too good.

This Tn. River is jump'n. Yall are gonna get a good rise here for the next few days. I wouldn't be suprised if she gets back up to around summer pool. The other day when I came up below Pickwick there was 12' diff. between Pickwick lower guage & Ky. upper pool. Pretty good head.

I'm tied off in fog right now below Huntsville, Al. Lots of extra water up here coming your way. Bet it pushes those fish back up in the bays out of the current and they scatter. Atleast that's where I'm gonna start look'n when I get off Tuesday.

See yall in a few days.
