    Default New KY State Record Crappie

    Caught by Penny Hopper from Croften, KY on Mother's Day. 4 lb. 14 oz. and 21 1/2 inches. Caught it on a Crystal Shad jig using a Zebco 33 outfit she had just gotten for Mother's Day. Fish was caught in a watershed lake in Christian County. All seems to be in order and fish will be an official state record. I'm very impressed! More information at www.courier-journal.com.
