Talking Chalk up a 1 in the W column

We've got 3 "practice" games, before we enter the SEC grinder, but we can't let our guys get too much of the bighead over beating L'vile ... or think they've got the next three wrapped up. Leave all that stuff to the fans & armchair quarterbacks, and get the offense ready to score some points.

L'vile basically beat themselves, and we gave them the only points they scored. We'll have to tighten things up a couple of notches, if we expect to do good in the SEC portion of the schedule. No time to rest on our laurels. Any win is a good win, even if it's an ugly win :p We just can't expect things to 'bounce' up into our hands, like the Card fumbles did ...

Congrats to the CATS, hope this is a sign of another winning season !!!

I was at the game and it was one of the ugliest games I've seen in a while. I'm a Ky fan, but neither team has much to look forward to on the offensive side of the football. The SEC is going to be tough this year. Hope they can make it to a bowl game. It was fun watching the Louisville fans bitching about Kragthorpe and crying on the way out.

Dont get too excited! Ky better learn how to score with offence or they will have a long painful season. Now about louisvelle,we raised cane because of no defense last season and they seemed to shore that up pretty good and their offence fell flat to say the least. The coach is pretty good imo just like the ky coach. Remember the ky fans that wanted brooks head on a platter not so long ago and now he is the best and smartest coach around. We will wait like you guys and give him the benefit to work this out.

Only problem is coming off 12-1 Orange Bowl season, then going 6-6, and bet they dont make that this year. They will take another knock on the chin when the play K-State. Kentucky has a long way to go on offense, in no way will yesterdays showing stand in SEC play. Brooks inherited a bad situation, Kragthorpe is taking his program in the wrong direction.

I don't think Petrino left Kragthorpe to good of situation either, considering they have had 21 players leave since last year. There fans were brought back to reality quickly since that Orange Bowl win. That might not happen again for a while. And I'm ready for the fishing to pick up to. Needs to cool off a little.
