    This data from the corp
Am i right in believing fish will not hang around too long below 10 ft because oxygen is too low or am i missing something?

    Talking Hey Arca ..

if the data is correct ... then your assumption is correct

Data doesn't surprise me, though. Since, as this chart shows ( http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/wc/res...plots/tvl.html ) that there's been little rainfall in the area, since late May. Even with the couple of 1" rainfall days, they're scattered far enough apart for the ground to have dried out enough to soak it in, before it reached the lake. (hence the slow decline in water level)

It also depends on "where" those readings were taken (probably at the dam) ... as traffic, current, and wind can mix things up .... and the depth the oxygen is present, may be somewhat deeper in those areas.

Could also be a good reason why :
KY Afield show anglers were catching them in July, at 10-12ft deep.
Why my previous Summer trips were most productive at 8-10ft deep.
Why several people are complaining about not catching many Crappie there, lately (fishing too deep ?? )

    ... cp

Think this is about right. Fished Cedar Cr monday evening form 5pm till dark. Caught 15 crappie and 15 bass under slip floats ....all set to 10ft.
