Cave run lake
Anyone being fishing Cave run lately? I'm going to try it this weekend rain or shine, I'm tired of waiting on a nice weekend. Anyone know the water temp? It should be getting close to 60 deg by now.

Haven't been since I'm still trying to get over recent eye surgery but my next door neighbor went yesterday 4/22/08 and caught a lot but mostly on the small side. Only 3 keepers out of several dozen caught. Most were caught in Buck Creek area and are still fairly deep.

Cave Run
Fished some last week, 17th-20th. Lake was muddy and the Corps was pulling it hard. Fish were few and far between, but did find a few nice ones in the creek mouths 12-14 feet deep. The lake was clearing and they seemed to be pulling up by Sunday afternoon. Fished Caney mostly. Temp 59 degrees.

Fished wed. 23 excellant day. Water temps were between 59 and 63 on the surface. THURS. 24 good day . Surface temp between 66 and 68. Fri. fair day .Surface temp. 69 and 70.
