I fish cave run, Crappie, or whatever will bite when the crappie are slow:D
you guys may already know this but you can call (606)783-7001 and get a recorded message of lake conditions at cave run. Its from the corps of engineers they update it most mornings around 6:00 . They arent reporting the water temp. or giving the fishing report just yet but they will in the spring. They still give the lake elevation and output from the dam. Hope this helps someone. I try to hit several lakes throughout the year and try to get to Kentucky/Barkley a few times a year but the oil companies are making that harder and harder.
