    Default Great night with the kids...I think.


    Took my two girls 13 and 6 fishin at 4:30 tonight and in 45 minutes we had 12 or more in the boat. Things were going great till the 6 year old pricked her finger with the jig hook. Had to call Momma to pick her up at the dock. Went back to the honey hole and put another 12 or so in by myself. All in all it was a blast. My 13 year old's first fish on was a 12 inch bass on an ultra light rod with 4lb test. Yahoo!!!!

    Sounds like a great evening! Anytime you can keep the kids busy catching fish, it has to be a good time for all. Too bad about her finger, but it was probably a good lesson for her that there is no other way to learn. Gotta love lively fish on light tackle!
