You might ought to change where you're lookin. I've found them lots of times at Pet stores. They sell them pretty cheap too. Rosey Reds are the feeder fish of choice at most Pet stores, for the bigger aggresive fish the sell there. Usually go for around $1 to $1.50 a dozen. The put them in a fancy plastic bag for ya too! I don't know if they would take to kindly of bringin in your minnow bucket and filling it up. A couple dozen will make for a good day on the lake most days.
I usually find them at bigger Pet stores, or Aquariam Specialty stores. Good luck.:D

Rosey reds run about $ 16.50 a pound at Baits and Bullets. Thats about 12-15 dozen. Not sure what they charge for a dozen. We went thru about 2 lbs. for 2 1/2 days of fishing.

Take some red food dye and put some in your minnow bucket/with minnows.. they soak up the red dye..works great..
