it would depend on where the fish were, at that time.
If they were in the shallow brush - I'd use a minnow under a slip float, and fish right down in the bushes (buck brush/button bush) in 2-6ft of water (depending on claity).
If they were in the deeper brush/wood - a 1/16oz weedless jighead w/tube would be my choice ... cast over and retrieved slowly aross the tops of the brush. Elec Blue/char - blk/char - pink - chartreuse w/sparkles depending on water color.
If they were still moving into the shallows, or cruising the pea gravel banks - 1/16oz chartreuse Roadrunner (marabou) or solid pink Roadrunner (if you can find one) cast across the gravel banks & flats adjacent to the banks with shallow wood/brush.
