    Default KY Lake Report

I hit Ky/Lake Wednesday and managed to get a few. Actually caught 33, but threw back everything under 11". Some of them looked like their bellies were about to explode!

The water temp was around 47 degrees, water is a foot over summer pool and still muddy. Some stable temps and sunlight should get them going good over the next couple of weeks.

Thursday morning I fished a few hours, the bite was a lot tougher. Really had the watch the rod tips to see some of the bites. Only managed 17 fish before heading home.

I'm heading back the end of next week with my son to fish a couple of days while he's out of school. Good luck to everyone chasing them.

Good to see you getting some fishing in Brad. Been wondering when you were going to start posting some pics. Reelfoot fell through today...weather was just too bad. Hope you can come down and fish sometime. I'll be at Big Sandy on Friday if everything works out. Come on down and join us.

P.S. Here is a pic of my big fish two weeks ago at Kentucky Lake. My biggest thus far 2.7 lbs. Enjoy.

Hey Hound, my son and I are planning on fishing Thursday and Friday. I still have your number. I'll give you a call and meet you on the water.

Brad, looks like a couple of nice fish there. We are planning on taking our first trip to KY Lake in a few weeks. I hope we find the big ones while we are there.

Hound, nothing shabby about that one you got there either.

Sounds great. I should have some info. on where to at least start looking by the middle of the week. Water is supposed to be falling fast this week so they are going to be all jacked up but hopefully they can get it down and stable before Friday.

Give me a call and we will hook up.

    The Hound
