    Default Friday's Fish

Took a buddy from work that I had promised a long time ago to take. We had a good day but a long one. We fished all day to get these 40. It rained most of the day but after the rain the sun came out a little and the fish started to hit. We caught them from 7' - 17' depending on if the sun was out or not. Lake is still high and climbing slowly but not as muddy as it was. There's 5-1 1/2 lbr's but no great big'uns.

The only way to have a good fishing spot is to make it yourself!

From the way it looked Friday, they will start moving in any time now. Only problem is that TVA is going to drop the lake and drop it BIG! That'll screw'em up for a few days.

Nice stringer of fish. It is unusual to see 40 crappie from Ky and there not be any black crappie (unless I missed one in the photo). I'm going to take my Dad for our 1st trip this season Sunday.

Sixfin, looks like a good mess. Myself and a friend are planning a trip over before long. He works with a guy in Nashville who lives in Benton and said it is a good place to come fish. Maybe we will run inyo you over there.
Take your kids hunting and fishing, and you won't be hunting your kids
