What a day. I took the day off to go fishing and spend some time with the wife but mother nature didn't want me to go fishing. Can't actually say that I have ever crappie fished in the snow but it would have been one heck of a site watching my wife shovel snow off my boat while I pulled in a nice slab. Hope it gets better next weekend.

hate to pour water on next weekend being better,but the lake will be cold,muddy and high from the run off from all this snow. If it DOES get 60 degrees Wednesday like they say then the run off will almost be like a heavy rain.Originally Posted by Jigboy

Glad to see the optimistic attitude. The crappie don't know it is snowing. The water temperature only dropped a degree on both Kentucky and Barkley Lakes over the weekend. We should be back to 48 and 49 degrees on both lakes. I have heard good fishing reports from yesterday and today. Hang in there.
