THAT was a game??? didn't even look like a good practice for Vandy.

I quit watching when it was 25 to 6........glad I didn't invest any more time.

11 pts in the first half.....my son's 8th grade team could have scored at least that many. Unbelieveable.....at least come March madness we will not have to worry about missing any games while we are out fishing.

Yep, not a good day to be a Wildcat fan. We've got to remember though, this is a rebuilding year. Remember Patino's first year. Not a real good one by Ky. standards. Look were we went from there.

One thing I did notice during the game was several of the young players (Patterson, Stevenson) got MAD! They have several years for revenge. You can bet your crappie rod there'll be a payback day.

They got beat. Everybody gets beat sooner or later. I believe that beating did them some good. Remember what happened when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. What did that Japanese admiral say? "I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant!" Vandy could have backed off alittle but everytime the score got close to getting below a 40 point lead they put the starters back in. We put an end to their undefeated season and that p'd them off. Mark my word, before Patterson leaves he'll get his payback day.

He keeps playing as good as he is playing and his revenge will be on a professional court. I understand it is supposed to be a rebuilding year but they still have 3 McDonalds All-Americans starting. I am not 100% I like the coach yet but time will tell. I understand what Patino did, but he had a pretty incredible resume before coming and getting to the great 8 last year with Texas AM just doesn't match that. I stick to crappie, because they are way more predictable.

I suffered thru the entire game. Better days are ahead.

I think the coach will work out fine.....just give him a few years to recruit the type of players he is looking for and I think they will work their way back into the "elite" status. Everyone says he's one of the best recruiters in the country.......if true they should be fun to watch pretty soon.
