Went today and it was slow.
I couldn't stand this warm trend so I took off work and went fishing this afternoon. Went to a local creek ( Ohio river tributary ) and only caught 9 with 3 crappie and 6 bass. Slip bobbers and minnows about 4 ft. deep. The water temp was 38 to 40. Oh well the worst day fishing is better than the best day at work. Got to try the boat out and caught a couple on my new rod so all is well.:D

Crappie Wall Hanger II
I went today to a 3 acre lake. Got 10 and 4 gills (small to med). Trolling 2 jigs (popeye and curly tail) on 2 and 4 lb test line tipped with crappie nibble from my kickboat. Most of the fish seemed to be suspended over the deepest water in the lake. Enjoyed the day! Fresh fish tommorrow night. Got to try out my new Pflueger President reel. Smooth!
