Crappie By The Dozens!!!

You guys are driving me nuts talking about catching all those pool little fishes. Stop it right now and save some for me. Actually I am comming down the 12th of Oct for a week or more. Hope I have timed it right to pick up a few of those fall slabs along with a few yellow bass just to fill the freezer. Last year we were down later in the year and done real good. I hope I am not too early this year. Could a person d any good night fishing this time of the year. I will be in the big bear bay area.

Might want to keep an eye on the forecast. I'm coming down around the 17th, and have been watching the Accuweather long range forecast. Doesn't look good for the 12th to 14th. :( Rain starting around the 12th, then a big temp drop for lows in the mid 30's for a couple of days before it rebounds about 10 degrees mid-week. I can handle wet and I can handle cold. Wet AND cold is where it stops being fun.

I am already booked so I am comming rain or shine. I will be there till the 21st so hopefully I will hit some good weather. I don't mind the rain at all. Actually seems to be better fishing in the rain and there won't be as many people out. I can do without the cold. I HATE THE WIND. Give me rain any day over the wind.

I'm going to try for the 18th to 21st. Probably be camping at Hillman Ferry if it isn't too cold.

We've got a cold front coming in around monday. This is just what we need to drop the water temp. I wish I could get on some bigger fish though. I bet that the bigger fish are still further out towards the lake.

I got ya fine. C70's a good spot. If I run into ya I'll show you some good spots. :D

Can't wait to get down there myself but I won't be down until Thanksgiving. I am so jealous of you guys.

Just 4 more days and I am headed to Ky lake to help thin out some of those crappie's. Its a dirty job but somebody has to do it. Hope the weather cools down and stabilizes a little by then.
