Default Green River Lake Late Summer and early fall

Green River Lake is has been awesome since the floods this spring. Water and weather has been steady and the fish have been predictable. Hope that carries on thru the winter!

Les than 10 group since July! I was slaying them this summer with 89 degree water under 4 foot deep . They are still close to skinny water on the channel ledges or were last week.

Yeah, I was just curious, because slabeye has been catching gooduns at ~25ft deep, on the bottom & around very small bits of brush .... while Alex Cochran has been going up into the river and catching his fish in <5fow (tournament fishing and guiding).

I've been rubbing elbows with Alex all summer off and on. Great fisherman and young man seems like. Most of the fish coming suspended or right off the bottom. Starting to find some better fish on cover in deeper water now but have to deal with the bluegill.

HA !! After seeing your boat pic on the Main Forum I realized that was you that trailered your boat out at Holmes Bend back on the 25th Oct. ... right when I was trailering mine out. My fishing buddy remarked "look at all those rod holders, how do you even get in the boat ?"
Anyway ... I see that boat out on Green again I'll know who it is ... and hollar at'cha !!
