Thread: Fish Trap

Anyone Here fish this lake that can give me some pointers? I'm from prestonsburg and went today and it's very deep.... I don't fish deep lakes I found schools of crappie but it was all small fish caught 3 10"

Grizz ... according to the KDFWR 2024 Fishing Forecast ... Bluegill, Hybrid Striped Bass, Blue & Flathead Catfish are 4star rated or above at Fishtrap Lake. That's kinda telling about why you may be finding mostly small Crappie, seeing as how they're not listed in the upper ratings.

On this page I see most boats fishing close to the bank or out in the middle and up towards the Dam end of the lake. Picture appears to have been taken at low water levels.
