Man oh Man. The memories dredged up! 53 years ago. My friend Frank Ritter ( the fire chief then) and his brother Bill. Both gone to heaven now. The lake had been impounded about five years. We twitched floating Rapalas, close to the bank. Cow pastures rimmed the edge. We would catch a stringer of 2 1/2 lb. fat bass. Took them home and ate them, guilt free then. God bless America.
