Thread: Okay, who ticked Ma Nature off ...

Local radio station DJ said 400,000 possibly still without power, but I don't know if that's the whole state or just their broadcast area. We had a bunch of big limbs & trees down here in town & semi's blown over near the I75/I64 interchange. I know of only 1 death in Lexington, when a tree fell on a vehicle.
From what I've seen from my short travel and around my Apt. Complex ... most downed trees or limbs blown down were from Locust trees.

Lost fascia metal here and trees. Could have been worse.

I didn't have power from 6 30pm yesterday until 3pm today and just got my internet back on about an hour ago.... No storms here just the dang wind. I picked up a truck or limb and got most of them burnt, just 1 more truck load and I will be done....

Didn't loose power though the lights blinked a lot and there's several trees in the hood that are down, but too much damage. ! good thing is most of the downed trees NEEDED to be down, they're rotten in the middle or NO middle at all. stay safe in the clean up, keep those chain saws pointed at the tree.

Still no power here. Cut the big locust up into pole lengths for a buddy & will take the tractor & forks to load it up when he can get to it. Hopefully power comes back on shortly. Laying in bed under cover as I type this because it’s cold in here. Lol

Hurricane force winds here. We got our power back on this morning. Been out since Friday evening. Trees down on power lines. Understand that there still people without electricity. Be safe out there. Hope mother nature will let us have a break for a while.

Forecast better for the next few days. Fingers crossed.

My power was out for 30 hours.
Thank goodness for my generator.

My power went out at 3:00 pm Friday & just came back on at 9:00 tonight.
