Kentucky Lake is a big lake.....I usually fish there March and April. Weather can play a bunch on whether your catching them good or not. I'd suggest just learning as much about an area you want to fish and try to get there when conditions are the best. Try to gain some insight on what depth the crappie are and then just look for structure on your graph. Most creeks are full of structure. Water temp will play a big part in where you'll find them.
