Tried em out today and to my surprise the fishing was pretty good. I had a time controlling my boat when the gusts would sneak up on me, but the fish bit well all day. I found them most active between 12-18 feet down today in typical prespawn locales. Not sure the winning weight for the KCT tournament going on but I would say my best seven would have weighed 3.5 lbs. I did not catch many bigs yesterday but I’m glad ai stayed and muscled it out.
