I think I’m going to have to provide a battery in the bow for the puck and the fish finder. Thoughts?

You will not regret using that rogue storage bin for a dedicated electronics battery. I installed a fuse block for mine, but each unit has its own circuit, very handy when tracing a short or some other issue. Plus who likes a big jumble of wires in their battery compartment.
2 helix 10’s
1 Garmin 1222 GPSMAP
1 LVS32 + BlackBox
1 Mega 360 transducer
1 minn Kota puck
1 humminbird puck
Interior cube lights
USB port for charging
12v auxiliary outlet
That’s a large load to a dedicated starting battery, on long days I would sometimes have to jump the starting battery, some days it wasn’t enough so I went ahead did it. I got the connectors that heat them and they have a little solder inside of the heat shrink, they are on Amazon and it’s PERMANENT.
*note that I do run into moisture issues in the space, never really an issue before but your connections will not last long in a corrosive environment. I’m in the process of rigging up a small fan to keep air moving.
