So I’ve spent my July weekends on the Cumberland River and it rarely disappoints. When I’m not on call and the flow is right, I switch gears and drift fresh shad for these big bruiser bows. I know it ain’t a crappie but I decided to share anyway. I’ve had a couple of you reach out to me and I’ve been more than fine, but in this climate of no one wanting to work, consecutive 90+ temps and working for Trane who has an impressive workload 60 hr weeks have become the norm so I haven’t been as chatty. I’m gonna try to get in Some fall fishing, but I guide waterfowl hunts in in North Dakota and Canada as well, not to mention running a service in Arkansas for Snow Geese and Specks keeps me off the water in the winter. I hope y’all are all catching some good fish and being safe, when I get some free time and the pleasure boaters give me my lake back I’ll see you guys on the water.
