Normally, we would have cancelled the trip, but a good friend of ours was in that area and wanted to get out on the water. So being the friends that we are, we went. We did see a huge crappie, in the mouth of one of those cranes! LOL!!

The positive aspects of this trip were, I got to get my "new to me" boat back on the water after having the motor worked on and new carpet and storage boxes installed. I got to figure out that my motor still needs some tuning, which is happening now. I called him on the way back and he met me to take it with him.. So, not totally a lose!
