Tville 4/7,4/9 after work showdown

Fish have been really cooperating this week. Some are spawning, some are moving up and some are still deep. I’ve been catching them in deep water and adjacent to spawning areas. I’ve heard a lot of mixed results, some guys arent catching many, lots of sub legal fish, and some guys are wearing them out. Tville is a tough lake to figure out sometimes with all of the abundant visible cover, it can be frustrating when you aren’t in them immediately. Took the boy out after work and we have been catching some really nice crappie, just weeding through a lot of little ones. I’ve caught one black crappie out of about 500 or so that I’ve flipped in the boat. 15 years ago it was just the other way around.
Anyway, Bobby G baby shad orange/chartreuse tipped with minnows has been getting it done. I feel right now the wrong color I. The right depth will net you more fish than vice versa. I’ll be working today, plan on going tomorrow, hopefully we don’t pick up too much rain. Stay safe.
