I've never fished Taylorsville, and only Green once, but am reading this thead and the similar thread about Green with interest...

We can all speculate about what should be done to make the crappie fishing better, aside from not over-fishing a lake. But it seems to me that if lots of 8-9" fish are being caught and no keepers, then something like a slot limit might be worth a try. Not many people want to mess with cleaning 9.5" crappie, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad to let them have them, and throw back most of the 12"+ fish.
