Dale hollow is a bit different, most of our crappie come from either trolling jigs or small crankbaits using planer boards or casting jigs to lay downs on 45° banks in creeks. Never much luck pushing jigs or standing timber with minnows. We've had better fish if fishing away from the boat (casting or trolling) vs fishing under the boat.
