Well i didn't boat any 2lbs so far but had a couple years at Barkley that I was just on them including a 3.2 and a 3.6. My best was when I was a kid and came from a farm pond right up the road from where I still live. 4lb 13 oz on a certified meat scale after the fish had been out of the water for over an hour. 8 years old at the time and didn't know what I had. Probably could still be the state record for a zebco 202:p

I don't know much about Taylorsville I fish Cumberland most of the time but I guess crappie act the same anywhere. We hunt for cover or drops in 20-30 feet in outside bends of creek channel and use 2 green submergable lights and 2 blacklights on 1 deepcycle battery and it last all night no problem. we fish like this june-aug and have pretty good luck hope this helps minnerdipper2.

    Default Crappie

JigBoy - Crappie fishing is easy when they are spawning but is that really crappie fishing? Fishing to me is the challenge and hunt of finding them. This is the time of year to see just how good of a crappie fisherman you are. Now don't get me wrong, I like fishing during the spawn as well but that is easy and I always like the summer because it really shows me just how good of a crappie fisherman I am.
