Thread: Green River last weekend

Fished Green River last weekend for the first time with 2 of my cousins. We stayed at one of the floating cabins at the state Marina. Started off on Friday fishing the bluff walls with a crappie magnet as a search bait suspended 18 inches under a cork. The bite was HOT!!! Caught 20 nice frisbees that were 12 inches or better before lunch time. At night time we fished off of the dock in 60 fow with a green submersible light. Once again, the bite was HOT!!!! Caught 14 keepers between midnight and 2am. Most of the fish were suspended in 12 fow under the light. Finished out Saturday and Sunday fishing the bluff walls with search baits and tight lining
minnows. Caught more fish than we knew what to do with. It was a great experience for our first time at Green River. The stubbies are still biting even after the spawn. Get a line wet!
