I trolling twelve poles. I run two fourteen footers in the front pointing straight out on each side of the boat. My next ones are twelve footers followed by ten footers.

In the back ok f the boat I run six more poles that are 6 1/2 foot long. I use Driftmaster rod holders to hold them all.

I troll single 1/24 ounce Jiffy Jigs that I order online out of Gworgia. Nice web site and good people to order from.

As far as speed, slow is the name of the games but it's a feel thing. I cant tell you I dont go slower or faster at certain times because I do. Depth of the jigs is the real key. Learning the depth of the fish and how much split shot to add to get your jigs to a certain depth. Once you master that you good to go.
