    Default Kentucky River

I was wondering if anyone fishes the river and if you do have you been. I used to fish the river a few years ago and I always caught a few and then about 4 or 5 years ago the bite quit in my hole.

I haven't fished the river in quite a few years, but always did catch some nice Crappie from it, on occasion. The pilons at Clays Ferry bridge, when brush has washed up against them, have produced some good fish.

If you happen to go, please report back about your trip !!

I fish at boonesborough a bit I have never caught a crappie there however I have just recently started going on the other side of the river where I hear the bite is quite a bit better. I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I get out there again.

Hey CP, I assume you are in a boat on the river right? FYI- you may already this but I did find a place that sells minnows all year round called BackWater Baits on in Lexington on New Circle Road. We should get together and go..... But Im think Im gonna do like you said and wait til the first of April and go over with some minnows.
