I'm sure that "at times" Spider Rigging on Cumberland is the ticket, but I believe casting jigs or using minners under a float or vertical jigging (or *Vertical Casting) around the submerged trees are the most widely used methods. Having good electronics, good contour map chip, and knowledge of the lake & what various water levels are best in certain areas of the lake will go a long way towards pointing you in the right direction as to what areas should be considered & what methods to use.
Luck2ya ... and hope to see reports & pics of your Crappie fishing adventures. Just be aware that a lot more people view this site than just our members ... so general info & discreet pics that don't necessarily show the bank/area you're at could keep the trolls & meathogs away from your productive spots. Just sayin'![]()
