Going Fishing!!

Been off the water to long! Heck with the cold front, heck with the thunderstorms and heck with the wind.....let it blow, I'm going fishing! Don't know where they are at, don't know if they'll bite but I won't know unless I go. So I'll give you a report tomorrow night when I get back. Heading to Big Sandy a.k.a. "Big Windy"

Yes it was a big windy!. I saw beach sand blowin across the road at Hillman Ferry (just after I quit fishin for the day).

So, how did it go for you?

BE CAREFUL!!! I thought I was going to get blown off the road driving home from work today. Big Sandy...Windy would have been no place to be today.

Sorry for so long with the reply. The wife is taking a master's course and been gone out of town....took the laptop with her. Fishing was impossible on Wednesday afternoon. I put in across from Mansard and headed towards the meadows and got blown backwards, not to mention drenched! Definately not one of my smarter moves. I hid behind the trees there on the point and managed to catch 7 keepers. Thursday wasn't much better managed 14 keepers until the wind started gusting. Decided by 11:00 to head home.

Seems like every day that I have off and able to go fishing the winds have been howling!
