I would say it would take a coal train to haul all the white bass that has been caught on this type of lure. Not counting the big slab crappie, but the big bull bluegill pile would be more than one train could haul. I never really got into red ears until later in life but when I did, I found they loved them too. True, you have to fish them a little different sometimes for red ears but the results are the same...A BIG STACK OF FILLETS and some hot grease. There is a great article in KyAfield magazine about this month about popeyes and catching shellcrackers. Just a old school little jig that will catch them,day in and day out.....
