I have caught Crappie still full of eggs in 3 to 5 feet of water on minnows, jigs or a combo of each. Friend went out yesterday, he caught 14 keepers, but said none of his had eggs, maybe reaching the end of the spawn. I think you can do well on either, oh Electric Chicken best producer for me.
