    Default Fought through the wind today


    Took another trip to Taylorsville today with family and friends, fought terrible wind, but still managed a Great day. Bite was slower today, spider rigging with fish still scattered from the banks out to 40 fow, with the biggest ones hovering deeper water between 4 to 8 ft deep, pink/Chartreuse and green pumpkin/Chartreuse the best colors. We caught 108 fish total, 45 keepers, 18 inch hybrid and a 16 1/2 inch Walleye, which was my first. Just a beautiful day the Lord gave to spend with my family and friends.     Good Job !! I started to come, but the wind warnings kept me home.

    Oh, and that's a Saugeye, not a Walleye .... the Saugeye have been stocked in T-ville for a few years. I caught a little feller there awhile back:
