    Red face Best Central KY lake


    OK so next weekend after this cold front moves through my dad is taking me out on the water. WE love to catch crappie more than any fish but we are inexperienced and havent caught alot yet. we prefer to use minnows and jigs. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME THE BEST PLACE TO GO FOR THE AFTERNOON TO CATCH SOME SLABS!!!!! (any help is appericated)

    Look at the "Taylorsville update" thread below. It seems like folks are doing well there but of course this cold snap may affect that. I haven't fished there this year but plan to very soon if I can escape from work.

    I don't know how far it is from you, but we have had luck at Green River in the coves across from Holmes Bend. Haven't been there this year ,yet but it was good in April last year.

    i like taylorsville, i have a report on fishin.com have had a real good spring so far.

    personally i love herrington. some of the best fishing i have had. and just a nice lake to be on.
